RepairVector Terms of Service

By creating an account or using RepairVector, you agree to these Terms.
1. What RepairVector is RepairVector is a reference and information tool for professional automotive technicians. It provides diagnostic information, guidance, and reference material to help a qualified technician do their work. Think of it like a map: it gives you directions and information, but you are the one doing the driving.
2. Professional use only RepairVector is intended only for qualified, experienced automotive technicians and the shops they work for. It is not a consumer or do-it-yourself product. By using it, you confirm you have the training and experience to evaluate and apply the information it provides.
3. The information is a guide — you make the decisions The information RepairVector provides is a reference to assist you. It does not replace your own professional judgment, inspection, diagnosis, or expertise. You are responsible for independently evaluating and verifying any information before acting on it, and you are solely responsible for the repair decisions you make and the work you perform. RepairVector does not perform repairs and is not a party to the work you do.
4. Your account and subscription You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, and you can manage or cancel yours at any time through your account.
5. Acceptable use Don't misuse the service: no reverse-engineering, reselling, or sharing access, and don't use RepairVector for anything unlawful.
6. Our content and yours We own RepairVector and its software and content. You keep ownership of the information you enter, and you give us permission to use it to provide and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. No warranty — provided "as is" RepairVector is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that the information is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, and we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
8. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAYBE LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) RepairVector — including any repair work or decisions made using it. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Indemnification You agree to hold MAYBE LLC harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of RepairVector or the repair work you perform.
10. Changes and termination We may update these Terms or the service. If we make material changes, we'll let you know. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
